Women's soccer ends season with loss

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers were defeated by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls 3-0 on Saturday night at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

The Pioneers held within a goal at the half, but the Falcons came out strong in the second half to score in the 56th and 58th minutes. UW-Platteville was stuck on the defensive side of the ball the entire game. They were only able to get off four shorts while keeper Alyssa Sickler was forced to make 10 saves.

The Pioneers finish the 2017 season with a record of 7-11.
