DELAVAN, Wis. – Senior women's golfer Stephanie Baribeau followed up last week's first place finish with another strong performance, finishing tied for fourth at the UW-Whitewater Fall Classic held at Delbrook golf course in Delavan, Wisconsin. Baribeau and the rest of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team also finished fourth out of 15 teams in the two-day tournament.
Baribeau, who shot 76-80 over the two-day stretch, finished just 3 shots back from Lake Forest College's Allie Girard, who took first. Pioneers' golfer Lindsay Neitzel also turned in a notable performance, finishing tied for 15th after shooting 82-83. The remaining three golfers for UW-Platteville, Larissa Schmock, Alysse Elko, and Lexi Graf, each turned in consistent rounds to help the Pioneers to their fourth-placelfinish.
The team is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the UW-Stevens Point Mad Dawg Invitational.
