2012 All-WIAC Women's Golf Team Announced

University of Wisconsin-Stout’s Brittany McNett-Emmerich received Player of the Year honors to lead the 10 individuals on the 2012 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Golf Team.

The team was determined by using the NCAA Division III GolfStat rankings immediately following the conclusion of the conference championship.  A player must have completed eight rounds in order to be eligible.

UW-Platteville senior, Kellsey Welter, was named to the All-WIAC Second Team, after leading the Pioneers at the WIAC Championship just a few weeks ago.  Welter was named to the All-WIAC Tournament Team after shooting a 54-hole total of 254, +38 (83-84-87). It is the third top-20 finish at the WIAC Championship for the Kaukauna, Wisconsin native. Welter had 25 pars to go along with two birdies throughout the 54-hole tournament.  Kellsey finished the fall portion of her season with a stroke average of 85.8.
