Men's soccer receives highest Regional ranking in school history

The NCAA has released their first regional rankings of the year and UW-Platteville sits at #2 in the North Region, their highest ranking ever in the poll. The Pioneers enter the Regional rankings for the first time since 2015 when they reached as high as #7. The only other time UW-Platteville has appeared in the Regional rankings was in 2012 when the Pioneers made it to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

The 10-3-1 Pioneers only losses this season came to nationally ranked #5 St. Thomas, regionally ranked St. Norbert, and in their first game of the season in New York. With three games remaining against quality opponents, a strong finish puts the Pioneers in a great position for the NCAA tournament.

The Pioneers next play against regionally ranked Wartburg on Tuesday, October 24th at Ralph E. Davis Stadium at 7 p.m.
