PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers lost 3-0 against the third-ranked University of St. Thomas on Sunday, Oct. 15 at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Pioneers kept within a goal in the first half, but the Tommies scored eight minutes into the second and added an insurance goal that took an unfavorable in the 72nd minute. The Pioneers were held to just three shots on goal versus eight for St. Thomas. Pioneers' goalie Nate Miller recorded five saves.
New records read, Pioneers 10-3-1 and St. Thomas 14-1.
The Pioneers return to action on Sunday, Oct. 22 at Edgewood College at 1 p.m.
