DEPERE, Wis.--The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer team fell to St. Norbert College 1-0 on Sunday in DePere, Wisconsin.
St. Norbert got the contest off right away, finding the back of the net 30 seconds into the game. For the next 89 minutes, both teams were unable to tally another goal.
UW-Platteville was able to take five shots on goal, but the St. Norbert goalie had an answer for each shot. Freshman goalie Nate Miller faced seven shots on goal, and collected six saves.
With the loss, the Pioneers dropped to 6-2, while Knights moved to 5-2.
UW-Platteville returns to Ralph E. Davis Stadium Wednesday, Sept. 21 against Augustana at 7 p.m.
