UW-Platteville Men’s Soccer earns bid in NCAA Division III National Tournament.

On Monday, the University of Wisconsin – Platteville Men's Soccer team earned a berth in the Division III NCAA National Tournament.  This is the second time the Pioneers have been selected to play in the tournament.  The Pioneers (14-3-1 overall, 3-1 WIAC) who also captured the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title this season was the first title in the program's history.  The Pioneers, who made the program's first NCAA showing in 2008, received one of 21 available at-large spots into the 62-team field and will meet Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) (15-2-2) in Northfield, Minn., in the first round on Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m.
