Bryce Corrigan Earns National Recognition

The efforts by sophomore quarterback Bryce Corrigan in the Pioneers' 40-10 win over UW-La Crosse has earned him national recognition as he was named the NCAA.com Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Corrigan had one of the most prolific day in his second career start at quarterback. The Plainfield, Illinois native completed 37 of 43 pass attempts for 412 yards and three touchdowns. He completed 15 consecutive attempts to open the game and 24 of his first 25 pass attempts between the Pioneers' opening drive of the game and first drive of the third quarter.

His 37 completions are fifth-most in program single-game history and became the fifth quarterback since 2001 to complete over 70% of his passes with a minimum 20 completions.

Next up for Corrigan and the Pioneers is a contest at No. 19 UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, Oct. 13.
