University of Wisconsin-Platteville Athletics Launches New Website

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville and PrestoSports announced the launch of UW-Platteville’s fully redesigned athletic website on Monday. The new site will debut immediately at www.letsgopioneers.com.

The new website will continue to produce the content previously available to Pioneer fans, including news, statistics, schedules and historical information, while offering a new viewer-friendly navigation system to go along with opportunities to showcase video and photos of the student-athletes and their teams.

Letsgopioneers.com will continue to serve as an all-access area for fans to find information on their favorite teams and student-athletes. The new website will provide links to follow Pioneer teams via live stats as well as audio and video broadcasts at select events.

“We are excited to debut our new website and partnership with PrestoSports,” said UW-Platteville Athletic Director Mark Molesworth. “The site provides a modern look and I think our fans will be very pleased with the ease of navigation, especially when using mobile devices. Our site will continue to develop for years to come. As the 2012-13 athletic season is around the corner, viewers will really notice the enhancements when they follow their favorite Pioneer teams.”

The most noticeable difference to the new LetsGoPioneers.com is the graphical redesign, as an effort was made to incorporate a greater variety of photos and video, while creating a more fluid look. Another significant change can be found in the main navigational setup, which was moved to the top to create a wider page that could display more content and keep all of the favorite features from the previous version of the site.

Pioneer fans will also be able to follow UW-Platteville athletics better on their mobile devices with the launching of a brand new mobile version of LetsgoPioneers.com. The mobile site is programmed to come up automatically on smart phones and tablet devices and can also be accessed through a link at the bottom of the website.
